Though the app takes some time to get used to, with a fairly steep learning curve for new users, it’s also one of the most powerful office and productivity apps we’ve seen on the market today, with a rich feature-set that makes using the app a breeze-and at times, a burden as well. With the ability to sort your messages and conversations into channels, sync with your already-existing software like Microsoft Office, and support for a wide variety of file types and uploads, it’s no wonder teams have found Slack perfect for their workflow. From the start, the company, media, and publishers alike all positioned the app as an “email killer,” something that could be used to completely remove the need to email your coworkers daily for contact.
